STATE LEGISLATION
At the Colorado Drug Investigators Association, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts at the State Capital by updating and educating our members regarding bills that affect them. We will provide testimony and real life experience regarding bills that affect law enforcement, drug enforcement or bills we believe could promote harm to our communities and citizens. Below are bills we are currently studying at this time.
NATIONAL LEGISLATION
Each year Executive Board members of the Colorado Drug Investigators Association travel to Washington DC and speak to our members of Congress. We are dedicated to stepping up our efforts at the US Capital by updating and educating our members of congress regarding bills that affect law and drug enforcement. We will annually support congress fully funding many programs to include Byrne Jag, HIDTA, and the National Guard Counter Drug Programs.
We are currently closely monitoring several bills to include the ones listed below which affect drug enforcement.
